In the current digital era, home security has become one of the important aspects that demands smart and efficient solutions. Conventional door lock systems have weaknesses such as the risk of losing physical keys and being vulnerable to break-ins. Therefore, this research develops a Smart Door Lock system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) by utilizing the ESP32-CAM as a camera module and Arduino IDE as the programming platform. The main objective of this research is to design and build an automatic door locking system that can be accessed and controlled remotely via mobile devices, as well as recognize users' faces as an authentication method. The main question to be answered is: "How to design a secure, efficient, and user-friendly IoT-based door locking system using ESP32-CAM technology?" The research method used is experimental with a system engineering approach, starting from the hardware and software design stage, integration of the camera module, and functional testing of the system. Data is collected through field testing and direct observation of the system's performance.
